This site is designed for adults and adolescents who may have signs or symptoms of a sleep disorder, or have some other interest in sleep disorders or sleep difficulties generally.
We have launched the site in order to:
- provide information about Sleep Therapy Australia, what we do, our location and how to contact us;
- give a brief overview of sleep and sleep disorders, with references and links for more detailed information;
- provide information about cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) as a treatment for insomnia;
- help people decide whether CBT is suitable for their particular problem;
- give an outline of other suitable forms of treatment or assistance;
- provide access to SlumberPro, a self help program that uses well-researched CBT techniques to treat insomnia.
